ASP is a website scripting language that allows dynamic websites to be created. It should not be confused with Microsoft's ASP.NET
Although ASP is still supported by modern Windows servers, its usage is declining. This is due to the emergence and progression of more powerful website programming technologies such as PHP and ASP.NET.
